We set aside about ninety minutes for your first appointment so nothing feels rushed. You'll meet Dr. Bukai, sit with us over a drink from our beverage bar, and walk through what's been working and what hasn't.
We'll review findings with you the same day and only recommend what you need.

We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Guardian, United Concordia, Humana, and more.

Payment & membership
For treatment outside of insurance, we offer CareCredit, Sunbit, and Proceed Financial, plus our in-house DCStylishSmile Membership. This flat annual fee covers preventive care and gives members a meaningful discount on everything else.

How long is a new patient appointment at DCStylishSmile?
Plan on about ninety minutes. We use the extra time to complete a full exam, digital scans, photography, a periodontal evaluation, a sleep and breathing screening, and a same-day treatment discussion, so you leave with a clear understanding of where your oral health stands.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of medications, and any previous x-rays or records you can share.
Do you accept my insurance?
We're in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, and United Concordia, and we file with most PPO plans out-of-network. We'll verify your benefits before your appointment and explain your coverage clearly.
I'm anxious about the dentist. Can you help?
Yes. Tell us when you book and again when you arrive. We offer weighted blankets, noise-canceling headphones, extended appointment times, and sedation options so you can get the care you need without the stress.
Do you offer a membership plan if I don't have insurance?
We do. The DCStylishSmile Membership is a flat annual fee that covers preventive care and gives you a meaningful discount on additional treatment — designed for patients without dental insurance who still want predictable, high-quality care.
